We ordered a laptop from this company, thinking it was a legitimate company related to a local community college. The advertisement made reference to a special deal for the employees and students of the school. The advertisement also referred to "overstock" and "reduced prices" etc.... The order was made sometime in August. When the laptop did not arrive timely, communication was made with "James" with a promise that the laptop would be delivered.

An extended warranty, at no additional charge, was given for the "inconvenience and delay." In January 2004, after many phone calls, emails, and no laptop, we cancelled the order and were told the refund would arrive in "5-45 days. It is now April 6, 2004, and while I was looking for more information than what I have found recently about EPCParts on the Internet, I found this site. I am adding our story in hopes that something can be done about getting everybody's money back.

Samething happened to us. the laptop never came in

AUTHOR: Hugo - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 18, 2004

Same thing happened to us, we ordered a laptop thinking that we were getting the best deal, well the laptop never came in, they told us that they were experiencing delays, we waited another week, nothing.

They told us that we would receive the laptop in about one week, nothing happned, we decided to ask for our money back, this happened back in January and till this day we have not received anything.

We have been in communication with this James, he has been promising us that we will receive our money back in about two weeks, 60 days, 45 days, and so on, just giving us the run around.

He gaves us the owners name and address. Here it is just incase you don't have it: Damon Jordan
EPC Parts, LLC 8335 Winnetka Ave, # 416 Canoga Park, Ca 91306.

They accidentally sent us an E-mail that suppossed to have been sent out to their merchants here si a copy of the E-mail:

" The Quebec scammer is still attempting. A Merchant caught 3 attempted transactions, apon further investigating them, this person also attempted 3 times in March, to 2 different addresses. Be very careful!!! In case you are wondering, the AVS, Address Verification System does not function for orders outside of the U.S. Thanks ".

Here is the E-mail that they sent us once they realized what they had done:

" Sir/Madame, Please disregard the earlier email that sent out. It was inadvertenly sent out to the wrong mail group. It was to sent out to the merchants to notify them of some possible online fraudulent activity that may be occuring. This has absoutely nothing to do with you. Once again, please accept our apologies for any confusion this may have caused you. Thank you Mathew Latimer ".

If there is anything that we can do to make this bastards pay us back our money count me in, I was thinking in taking this matter to court.
