Epc Parts ripoff BIG scam Canoga Park California

Here is the deal with this company. About a year and 1/2 ago, my family received an offer from this company to invest in their "Reseller Program." Supposedly, with just a small investment and the purchase of a computer, they would sell you these laptops at a "low" price and then you mark them up and sell them to people where you live.

We didn't have the time at first to sell the computer, but when we did get the time it seemed that we could not log in to our account at their website to get the prices and place our orders. After many calls I spoke with the supposed "head" of customer service and was told that because of supplier problems and back orders they were having a few problems that should be corrected in a few weeks. That was December 2003.

Now, if you view their record with the Better Business Bureau you will see that they have truly gone out of business. I am currently using the laptop they sold us and it works fine almost all the time.

Unfortunately, after repeated phone calls, all you can do is leave a message and sometimes you get a message telling you to try again later because the voice mail box is full. I did leave many messages and even got a response to an e-mail I sent, but when they found out what I really wanted they never sent anything back.

I am very disappointed, because it was around a $500 investment plus the cost of the laptop. Of course we have our laptop that works fine, but the company had a lot of potential. Good luck to all of you trying to get a refund.

In the next week I plan to send a "certified letter, return receipt threatening legal action. All that we asked was that someone return our call and they did have even the decency to do that, thus we have become even more outraged.
