Looking up your credit score? The Experian home page offers to let you view your credit report for $1, but you must cancel within 7 days or you start building up recurring charges.
After you take the time fill out their forms and process payment for the $1, ALL THEY SHOW YOU IS YOUR HISTORY, NOT YOUR SCORE.
BUT, conveniently, there is an option one click away to view all 3 of your scores for what I thought I remembered was $14.95. There is a charge for $32.95 on my bill for that day. If you use them, double check their posted rate as if it is lower, you may get billed or $32.95.
I forgot to cancel. I was 5 days too late and got hit with the charge, 17.95. If it were my company I would refund the $17.95 because the customer did not login and use the service. But they responded with this:
When you submitted your order at ExperianDirect.com on March 12, 2013, you agreed to the Terms and Conditions of our offer, part of which states that:
"If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can cancel at any time to discontinue the membership and stop the monthly billing; however, you will not be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of your current month's paid membership fee."
Pretty quick and prepared response. Do you think they get that request to cancel a lot?? I thought by law customers were able to access their credit scores? Either way, as a marketing professional myself, this is obvious manipulation that makes me sick. They need to figure out a better way to monetize their service than by relying on people to give in to the manipulation and forgetting to cancel. F*ck You Experian.

Anyone who has filed bankruptcy and has been discharged listen up. Experian has a new game. Three years later after being discharged from a Chapter 7, Experian has decided to place all my past debts, right back on my credit report with (bankruptcy) beside each past creditor.
I'm in the process of getting it corrected. I'm glad I had checked my report. Make sure you do like wise. There's dirty dealings all over our country now. So terrible.
