Before I tell my story, I want people to know that I am going to my local newspaper to see if I can get them to print a short story on ExpressAutoParts so that I can publicize the scam artist that they are. There's no better way to stop a company than by bad publicity. After that I'm going to email my friends with the advice to never shop at EAP and have them forward it to their friends and their friends forward it to their friends and their friend's friend to their friends. You get the point. I advise everyone that has had to deal with EAP to do the same. In no time, we'll run them off the internet market.

I ordered the parts at the end of September. After three weeks of daily checking my mailbox in hopes that the parts would arrive, I emailed expressautoparts.com to inquire about the situation. They then responded that my order was "out of stock." They didn't bother to inform me of that when the order whet out of stock, as is the courteous thing that most honest companies would do.

So I cancelled my order, and recieved a confirmation letter of the cancellation (the only time they ever took it upon themselves to email me). After waiting for a week or two for my refund, I emailed them with my concerns. They replied with:

Dear Jaimie

We have received your email inquiring about credit due to you. Your email has been forwarded to our Credit department for review. Please allow up to 30 days for your credit to show up on your credit card statement. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I'm sure many of you who have dealt with EAP recognized this letter. So I waited 30 days (I'm a pretty patient person), and they have yet to return the money or to respond. That was when I looked up EAP and found this website which tells of other stories similar to mine. I'm glad I'm not alone, but I'm sorry to hear that others have been frustrated the way I am frustrated now. If it were not for this website, I may not have known how to get my money back. I'm going to my bank today to put in a request for a disbute transaction claim.
