In June 2000, Express Auto Parts offered an affiliate program whereas they would pay out a percentage of each sale to those who advertised their logo on their website. Using Coldfusion affiliate management and marketing software, my business has accumulated over $7, 500.00 in commissions but we've never received any compensation from them.
We were recently contacted by an attorney who is working on this case with other advertisers and has filed a complaint with the New York State Attorney Generals office. Because of this, we must remain anonymous but we also want to warn others not to engage in their affiliate marketing or provide any advertising for them.
If you already have an affiliate marketing program with them but have not been paid, we recommend that you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the NY State Attorney Generals office. Chances are, you will not be compensated because the company does not have the assets available.
