i took out a payday loan a month again and i am in default with it. well mr. alberts calls my family members telling them i will be sent to jail if i didnt pay over $1800.00 in pay day loans and he was an investigator. my loan was only $150.00. my family contacts me and tells me so i call him. he scared me so bad and told me that within one hour i would be arrested.but then my husband said wait a minute he cant do that contact the magistrate. so i call him back to tell him that i would send the money after i talked with my magistrate. well he got so abusive telling me that he was going to issue the warrant . my magistrate told me i cannot go to jail for this. he would have to take me to court. the funny thing about it is he knew how to contact me all along he just wanted to scare me and it worked until i contacted my magistrate.

i don't know if you know North Carolina Law but it is illegal to have a payday loan since the date of january 1st 2006 so unless you got the loan in 2005 you are in direct violation of NC law so they have the right to go forward against you. i suggest you contact your legl representetive and get this matter resolved before it goes any further.
