If you are contacted by these barbarians, file a complaint with the Texas Attorney Generals Office. They have been violating collection laws my misrepresenting themselves as either "investigators" or "Officers". They are operating out of Austin, Texas. Texas requires legitimate collection agencies to post a bond, should an issue arise regarding their practices. I have searched the State of Texas website and this company is not a bonded collection agency.

If you file a formal complaint, Legal Processing Associates may be required to pay you restitution for violation of your legal rights.

This is the only way to stop this company, hit them in their pocketbook.

Legal Processing Associates - LTP this is the first time i have been scamed. I got a pay day loan at check n go and ever since i have been getting calls at my place of employment and my home and cell. this man threatend to call my family and friends and tell them im being brought up on charges and would be sent to texas to face trial for 1500 dollars. I only borrowed 170 dollars at check n go. he forced me to pay the day he called Austin Texas
