28th November 2007:-

ordered christmas linen. realised 1 hour later that delivery would take 10 weeks. cancelled order. too late.. card was charged. emailed customer service Customer Service Specialist ( dont laugh) Lisa Dejordy promptly confirmed that order was cancelled and refund would be given.

7th December 2007:-

Still awaiting refund. (charged it instantly over a week to send it back?) contacted customer service again (Same Specialist) no reply. Put it down to busy holiday period

12th December 2007:-

Still no refund. starting to smell like a scam to me. contacted customer service again. received an automated response then Reply from Linda this time. some nonsense requesting card details over the internet. i think not! who gives their card details out in a email. called from Scotland to the USA to check card Details. once again promised refund was on its way

13th December 2007:-

Emailed Linda to inform her they had the correct card details and asked for confirmation once refund was completed. no reply.. hmm

20th December 2007:-

emailed linda again requesting refund.. yep.. u guessed it.. automated response.. no reply.. tried calling.. get cut off everytime!

29th December 2007:-

Emailed customer service again.. once again i get the automated reply.. do they check their emails? suggest i might seek legal action.. this is getting beyond a joke! call again.. from the UK.. the lines are unclear . cant be heard.


above is just a small insight in to the world of linens for you. i have also made numerous phone calls to this company who repeatedly tell me that there is nothing they can do to speed up the refund process. they list numerous excuses about changing merchant services etc as a reason for delay but i actually think they dont have the money to provide the refund.. i think this company is going bust. and to be honest the sooner the better.

this is a quote from their website:-

"Linens 4 You's customer service goal is simple: We are committed to providing our customers total satisfaction. Every time. Guaranteed."

i think this is a false claim..

and another:-Returns / Credits

"If you are not satisfied with your purchase, the item will either replaced or a refund will be issued per our return policy (minus shipping and handling and restocking fee if applicable) within 15 days of receipt of your order"

funny.. lve been waiting almost three months.. is it 15 months?

i urge anyone who would like to keep their money not to use this company and i hope any relevant authorities in the USA manage to close these fraud merchants for good. Do Not believe a word they say!

i am looking forward to the response i receive from the company.. as i see they have responded to the other two complaints.. which strangely enough are for similar amounts of money.. and occured at a similar time. i urge you to try and go against what i have said on this website. i have copies of every email i sent.. and every reply you gave me as well as recordings of all telephone calls. you cant argue with the facts.. REFUND MY ACCOUNT NOW!

Dont' give up Elizabeth! Elena ..if you are reading this I only have one thing to say to you...you need to do the right thing!! First you trashed me saying i was slandering the company. Now..you say Elizabeth is slandering the company!

Were all just so wrong and were all slandering your poor excuse of a company!!
Everyone ...BEWARE!! there are numerous complaints about this lady and how she doesn't ship out her products and how she doesn't refund money!! If she does it's few and far between!!

And get this....Since I have worked for her she has eirher fired or lost 10 employees that I know of!!!! In the past 7 weeks she has lost 5 good employees!! Some she fired for no apparent reason. Some she claimed to have fired but actually quit out of frustration for her crooked ways or simply not receiving pay checks. Some actually quit because they believed she is purposely ripping folks off. Elena ...do not be shocked when the FBI comes to your front door!! I wouldn't surprise me if you were being investigated !!!!

Either you are purposely frauding your customers and ripping off ex-employees or you are just plain the most stupid business owner I have ever encountered!!

If you choose to kkep on this road you will have a large bite in your large behind!! it's the law of nature my dear. Just the law of nature!

Elizabeth...fight this and don't stop!!! Keep going until Good Morning America puts you on T.V.!!! I will back you up 100% !!!!

Elena....you are a crook..and you will be brought down. Remember...the bad guy always loses in the end. your time is almost up!!!

I'm so glad to hear that you fought so hard for your money and WON! It has been six months and Elena Santana still owes me roughly $700 in unpaid wages. I worked HOURS for her, telling customers exactly what she told me to tell them... excuse after excuse... all to be the one who lost in the end because I never got paid. I gave this woman a copy of my photo ID and my social security card because she "needed it for payment purposes" for taxes and whatnot and I never received a dime. Instead she tells everyone that I'm just slandering the company. I have PROOF I worked those hours.

I will continue to fight!!

I am happy that you finally got your refund after 4 months!! I too am still waiting to be paid the 560.00 that is still owed to me. The owner of this company claims I was having temper tantrums and that I was deranged. Yet 5 weeks later...I still haven't received any money! I guess she is upset that I reported her to this site. But hey...the word had to get out that she is ripping me off! I copied my time sheets and I saved every email from her so I have proof that i worked for her. Now I just need to go to an attorney because I am sick and tired of waiting!!

There were problems refunding the account due to an incorrect expiration date on the credit card on record. Customer has been issued refund. If credit has not appeared on card, customer is advised to please contact one our customer service department to have the issue resolved. This type of problem usually happens when a customer's card has been expired.

i would just like to add .. that Linda, despite not replying to some emails (which i doubt is her fault at all) has been very helpful in trying to get this refund processed.

i have spoken to her a couple of times on the fone... and she has tried to help me. which is greatly appreciated.


i think the other staff members should follow her example!
