I ordered crib bedding. They charged my credit card $141 then never contacted me again. Now their phones number is disconnected and their e-mail bounces back. They have not sent my bedding or refunded my card. There is no way to cancel my order or get my money back.

(1>CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD
If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.
Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.

File a complaint with the BBB of Southeast Florida and with the Florida State Attorney General's office. You can do it online.
There is strength in numbers!
NOTICE!

---IMPORTANT File your Rip-off Report now---
FYI, Attorneys General nationwide, FTC, SEC, FBI, IRS, US Postal Inspectors, Homeland Security, US Justice Department and most other Authorities Including Government Authorities in more than a dozen other countries and Local & National News Media all view Rip-off Report,.. We'll put YOU in contact with them if you want them to help further your cause, YOU make that choice when you sign into your Rip-off Report account.. It is important to file with the authorities, but, consumers and other authorities never get to see what consumers filed with any other agency not even the BBB! All they do is suck in your info and no one else gets to see it. That is why it is important to ALSO file with us here at Rip-off Report. Your filed Rip-off Report will more than likely be prominent on the search engines. Lawyers sue us all the time to remove them, but we NEVER do! All other independent consumer websites remove claims made by victims when they are sent a letter from the Reported businesses lawyers.. WE DO NOT.
Lawyers read Rip-off Report too, those attorneys interested in helping your situation or if a Class Action Lawsuit is being filed, Rip-off Report will contact YOU with their contact information. We dont give out your info!

I hope you received your money

I really hope you received your refund. If not, I hope you are still fighting with everything you've got. This woman does not give anyone money for any reason whether she owes it to them or not without a fight.

The first red flag here is no business address!
AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

Everyone should notice that the linens4you.com website does not have a physical business address on it anywhere!
This is the first red flag when dealing with someone online. If they do not have PHYSICAL address and contact info on the site, move on.
A physical business address
A landline phone# [not a portable/stand alone toll free]
A fax #

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds
Take that excuse with a grain of salt.

Elena Santana owns and operates Linens4You.com.
This company relies solely or at the very least very heavily on drop-shipping and similar companies. Elena has several charge accounts with these companies which, in normal situations, would help with the possible delayed shipping times that come with using drop-shipping.
These accounts are not all current, many are delinquent or closed or at least put on hold until they can be paid in full and more and more are warning her that they will be put on hold very soon.
At least this was the case six months ago when I was employed.
I didn't quit because my husband needed my computer, I quit because I couldn't handle being dishonest to customer after irate customer, every single day. I simply don't have it in me.
I'm sorry you have dealt with such difficulties. Hopefully your report and my rebuttal here will either help Elena open her eyes and see what she is doing to people or keep people far, far away if this is truly deep down the kind of person she is.

#1 UPDATE Employee
Customer Reported in Error
AUTHOR: Linens 4 You - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, December 19, 2007
This customer did not realize that her item was cancelled due to out of stock issues. Upon notice of cancellation, a credit was issued immediately back to the card on record and the customer was notified immediately of the cancellation and credit. Unfortunately, the customer did not receive the notification and did not realize that the credit had already been issued. At no time, have our phones not been available nor our emails have bounced back.
Customer's are more likely to complete and file complaints but not report their own errors and corrections to these complaints. However, this issue has been resolved and this comment should of never been initiated. Although we know that this report was filed in error, we are truly happy that we do not have an unsatisfied customer.
