I was also a customer of Magic Jack for about two years. Then all of a sudden I am informed after trying to make a local call that it requires me to buy a calling card. Their advertisment still says that if one buys a Magic Jack the customer can make unlimited calls. Which a blantant falsehood.

I am trying to get the word put thast agic Jack is a rippoff of the worse kind. I have conatcted my local carrier and they also agree that it sounds like a bait and switch issue. I also contacted the Missouri Attornet Generals office.

Magic Jack I purchased a one year plan. From day one, the service did not work. Texted and talked with someone from their technical support department and was told my unit does not work! He said i need a new unit.  It's been 2.5 weeks. They are ripping me off!! This is the WORST company I've ever dealt with!!

Magic Jack I called them to provide my new address. They said I need to renew now. I had noticed they had renewal options -1 year, 3 yrs, etc.. I asked about the 1 year. I was told they don't do that. I would need to do the 7 year paid in advance.  Terrible customer service. Nationwide

Ace Cash Services This company has been emailing me and trying to get me to pay them money. i have responded to the emails but whoever is behind the emails are very rude and when I called the number that was giving it says something about a magic jack line and when i emailed the comapny back asking about the magic jack line the emails stopped. Magic Jack Wal-Mart Consumer Shakedown: Purchased a Magic Jack package at Wal-Mart for Approximately $50. The card with the device suggested that the fee would be for less than $20 annually. That was sometime in April 2014. I was offered a 5 year re-up which I accepted but can't immediately verify because I never get formal invoices. My Magic Jack phone quit working suddenly and I'm informed that there is a $30 unpaid fee for the phone number. This was never made clear when I first contracted with these folks. I requested that they send me at least an Email telling me why they discontinued my service, but apparently they refuse to do so. I'm at the mercy of gentlemen whose first language is obviously not English. I believe I've been scammed not only by Magic Jack but by the retailer Wal-Mart Internet
