This is my story about how NFCU IS charging me 90 dollars a day into my account illegally. I got into some trouble with some payday loans due to my retired pay being sent to the wrong account for 2 months and not being returned to me for 90 days.i had to pay bills so i took out 3 payday loans.
Iwas told my retired pay would be straightened out in a few days. 90 days later i get my money, bills are way past due, payday loans are bouncing, i contact nfcu and beg them to freeze my account, make it deposit only ,or close it until i can catch up and pay them the 300 dollars, they say i owe. they refuse.
I was told they can not and would not assist. i contacted my State rep, here in FL. and have not heard a thing. I contacted the ombudsman for complaints about credit unions and have not heard a thing. my so called fees to the credit union are now 1000.00 and they will not assist. BE WARY about doing business. i was a member for over 20 years in good standing.

The problem here is that you gave a third party access to your checking account.
NEVER do that!!
Payday loans are the biggest mistake you can make.
There is no upside to that system.
It is designed to beat you.
I can't understand why you went without your retirement for so long.
Checks are mailed until direct deposit starts.
You say the money was going to the wrong account.
Well, was that account yours or someone elses??
Your report really doesn't add up.
