Peoplepc.com ripoff charged me double the amount for internet service Internet

I initially signed on to peoplepc through a cd which I received in the mail after waiting 17 days from the day I called for service. The cd required a credit card number which I gave because I was already disputing the situation with my credit card company because they were taking so long to send the cd.

Soon I found I was being charged twice for the service which peoplepc has does nothing about. I had a three way call on 9/25/06 between my credit card company and peoplepc.com, and they said they would be in touch but nothing has happened.

My initial service is up on 9/27, and they are doing nothing to compensate the amount I paid for 5 more months. What a racket!

I guess they can get away with anything on the internet!
