Peoplepc.com ripoff took unauthorized money out of my bank account four months after I cancelled their service San Francisco California

I cancelled my online service in July 2006, after i got dsl with bellsouth,then i found out accidentally yesterday they had drafted money out of my checking account without knowledge or consent. When I called them they were rude,lied and point black told me were not giving my money back.One gentleman told me he shows where it was cancelled in July,then he transferred me to his supervisor to get my refund and she tells me it was never cancelled and since i don't have my cancellation number from four months ago they aren't giving me nothing.How can a huge company act like this and get away with it,I am furious.I am also having the same problem with AOL,bottom line when you cancel their service you better make sure months down the road they have not charged you and you have that cancellation number.
