Reservations.com Sharp; deceptive; bordering on fraudulent consumer practices Internet

On May 7, 2017 I inadvertently booked a room in Ontario, Oregon with this company.  I was looking for the motel site directly and thought I'd found it.  The internet rate was $62.00 (which, as it turns out, I could have booked cheaper by calling the motel).  It was not until I'd made the reservation and my card charged that the extra $14.99 appeared.  After exchanging texts with them (which in the course of changing phones have disappeared) I was told it would be reversed as a courtesy.  Apparently, these bots are not very courteous, as they didn't follow thru.

Hopefully, enough people will bring this, in my opinion, scam, to light and take appropriate legal action.
