I left Washington State at my expense, to go to Schneider Truck Driving School in Mesquite, TX. I was making 9.5 gpa for the fourteen days since entering into school. They claimed they never let drivers fail, but students leave on their own volition. Five other students "disappeared" before me. I was virtually thrown out within two hours on my fourteenth day after entering into the school. That was my fourth day of actual hands on, in the truck, driving. They then announced to me that I would owe $4000, and put me into a bus terminal and were gone.
I have known experienced drivers for many years, and they are stunned that any student would be expected to master shifting with less than four days training. Read your contract very very carefully.

People don't give up do they

People don't give up do they. People understand me perfectly well. They just don't want to admit that I am right about some thing.
That Is why they put me down. Even when I stop making comments for a while.

I just joined this site recently, and I am appalled at the extremely incomplete reporting provided by the complainers, illogical trains of thought, and inconsistencies. Someone like Anthony must have incredible patience to try to clarify so many of these.
Also, I've noticed Ripoff censors some things, which is wise; is there any way they can simply remove Charles, who posts constantly and never makes any sense?

...because you're record of credibility on this issue is well established on this site.
My questioning the reason that this person was let go on her 14th day is in no way "cutting her down". The reason she was given for being cut from training is a rather important detail, don't you think?
My reasons for defending Schneider have been divulged many times in my posts, despite the fact that I have never personally worked for them. I don't need a job. I've worked for the company I am currently employed with for several years now.
My motivations are simple. I am someone who knows a thing or two about this industry and I pass on that knowledge as I see fit. And until someone can demonstrate in a credible manner that I am wrong to defend Schneider National Carriers for the reasons I have outlined many times, I will continue to do so.
It makes no matter to me if someone chooses to ignore me. Personally, I think you should start following your own advice.
And for the record, you have never worked for them either, due to being declined for an offer of employment because you did not meet the criteria that they are required under law to meet when hiring someone to operate a commercial vehicle, which is at the core of your motivation, which is to smear them every chance you get.
Please Charles...get a life.

Why were you let go from training? You're very vague on that point.
I can tell you that there are people who after four days, are evidently not going to be able to drive a truck. I've trained several people over the years, and I consider myself able to train anyone on their level, but two people in all these years were not trainable.
One would not EVER look to see what was around them, and was petrified the entire time behind the wheel, even after many days of driving. The other was simply unable to grasp the dynamics of operating a combination vehicle...period.
Schneider does not discharge people after having invested fourteen days in training them for no reason.
