My company switched phones when the new i-phone came out. Only one company provided service for the new i-phone. When we tried to switch the phones only one went through successfully. It was supposed to be automatic, end service with one company one day, start the other the next. We called AT&T and asked what the problem was - they told us that we needed to call call T-mobile tell them to put the phones back up, that they took them down before the transfer and that they (AT&T) could not transfer lines that were not up and running. What had happened was AT&T sent the primary number one day and the other two the next day. I called T-mobile and told them about out our intentions to switch and could they please hook-up the phones again.
AT&T could never switch the lines from t-mobile (wonder why?) and we ended up getting two new numbers from AT&T. I assumed the lines were closed and that ended it. When the bill came in November for the service I assumed it was for the back service and paid it. December bill had charges on it; one of the employees made alot of out-country calls on the old t-mobile phone; so I paid that bill and called t-mobile to again cancel the service. I got another bill in for January service with another out-of-country calls from a now departed employee. We did not use any service!!!! When I called Customer Service, there responce was "I guarantee you it's cut this time". I asked them about the bill I had and they told me I had to pay it!
I will pay the bill - because my former employee did make some calls on a number that was my responsibility.
I feel like this would never have happened if T-mobile did not purposfully try to extend the period I would owe service. It was a dirty trick to take down the numbers they knew I was trying to transfer and it was dis-honest to manipulate the billings with the intention to maximize the periods I would owe them. Throughout the entire period of this I have made numerous calls to T-Mobile and tried to resolve this to their shame.
Join me in telling all your friends, relatives and business associates to avoid doing business with T-mobile. A company is only as good as how they handle their problems. In this case they created the problem with their greed.

Why would AT&T ask for one number to be ported one day & for the other 2 to be ported over the next? That's crazy & they are the ones that started your problem. You are absolutely responsible for your ex-employee running off with your phones & all the charges he/she incurred.
