US-1 Van Lines rip-off! Dishonest, fradulent estimates and billings. Dallas Texas

A new job required us to relocate from Dallas, TX to Baltimore MD. US-1 Vanlines offered what "appeared" to be a good estimate. Then came moving day. The estimate provided for 3 hours packing labor. 8 1/2 hours later with a one hour lunch break they were done. Once they had our stuff on the truck, the bill $1500 MORE then the estimate. They told us WE didn't inventory properly and EVERYTHING need in go in a box. 2 extra rolls of Bubble-wrap @$125 a roll. Two CASES of packing tape at $16 a ROLL. Complete and utter RIP-OFF.

They drove off with our stuff on October 1, 2004.

October 5, 2004. Have rented a new aprtment a start calling to give them the delvery address. ALWAYS voice mail, and NEVER a response.

October 7, 2004. Finally get a fax number to report delivery address.

October 11, 2004. Truck should be loaded...will call.

October 15, 2004. Truck never reported in, trying to find a new truck.

October 18, 2004. Truck in the shop...will call when loaded.

NO CALL October 20, 2004. Should be loading today...will call. NO CALL.

October 22, 2004. Truck in the shop. Should load later today or over the weekend. They have had the our stuff since October 1st, and their in NO schedule date if and when it should arrive.

NEVER, NEVER use this company!
