US-1 Van Lines FRAUDS!!!! Dallas Texas

I contacted Anne at the corporate office in Miami, FL on 8/15/07 and set up a move for 8/18/07. She sent me a confirmation email stating I would be receiving 3 movers and 1 truck for $85/hr with a min of 3 hours. I printed the email and showed it to the movers upon their arrival on 8/18/07. They had a different work order with them, adding an additional $85 for travel time. This was never expressed as an additional cost to me and was not included in the email Anne sent me.

I contacted Anne and told her the situation. She said she would talk with her supervisor and have them call me back. No one ever called me back. I left 3 voicemails for Anne and 4 more for the Sales Manager, who I was told was Ariel for that day. No one ever called me back. Then the Dallas dispatcher, Moshe, told me he spoke with Ariel at corporate and she told him to just cancel the move. So the movers left after an hour of trying to reach corporate in Miami, FL and no one calling me back. I have also sent Anne 2 emails, requesting my $50 deposit back and she has not responded.

Still, no one has contacted me from corporate to tell me what happened on 8/18/07. They gave me an incorrect confirmation, expected me to just say okay and pay for it, then cancelled the move when I would not pay for the extra $85, as I had my printed confirmation with me, in hand. I had to call a different service, who showed up, did the move, and charged me what they said they would. I have now researched this "company" in greater detail and discovered tons of bad reviews and horror stories online about these frauds. I may sound petty arguing over $50 but it is the principle of the matter...they are just trying to screw people. Do not ever use them!
