Windstream Paid for a service they couldn't provide. Won't refund the difference. Cresson Texas

We were with Windstream for over a year. We would've left much sooner if we had good options for Internet service.
Our experience with Windstream was troublesome from the beginning. We were always having to call them to get our connection and speeds looked at, which took at LEAST 7 days before someone could get around to us. We were also sold a package that they couldn't deliver in our area. No one ever told us we weren't within range for the service, but they didn't mind charging a premium price. We were constantly having to call to have someone about our slow speeds, which was never corrected. They also refused to refund the difference in pricing UNLESS we kept the service.

We refuse to stay with a company that is incompetent. The refusal to refund what we were ripped off just puts the icing on the cake. If you live in the Cresson, TX area, I'd use my wifi hotspot on my phone before I'd call Windstream.
