I will never send a truck to a CarMax location ANYWHERE in the United States. 

Carriers can not call ahead and confirm ANYTHING. 

Directions, what they need to get a car picked up, policy information to make things go smoother.... they give you nothing and no way to call them.   

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER 100 TIMES AT OVER 100 LOCATIONS OVER A THREE YEAR PERIOD.  

I work with hundreds of dealerships who buy inventory from Manheim, Copart, IAA, Texas Auto Auction, Ritchie Bros. Auctions..... all better than CarMax when it comes to being organized, fast, efficient, accomodating to carriers.... but NOT CARMAX.   Oh No.  Try to call them as a truck driver and try to reach the location (all the different locations are just as bad).  They don't even give you a phone number.  You have to Google the address to find a number.  The number goes to a regional office that is paid to hang up on you.  They want drivers to show up, wait in line, figure it out as they go, hope they brought what is needed to pick up a car - ALL WITH ZERO HELP FROM ANYONE AT CARMAX.  TOTAL FRUSTRATION.

I move cars for countless dealerships and used car specialty shops and by far the biggest complaints I hear is from people trying to move inventory "in" and "out" of CarMax.  Their people do nothing to help.  Worst of the worst.  When truck drivers show up they are treated like crap.  No signs, no lines, no instructions and they all tell me they hate going there.  Most now flat out refuse the request and elect not to take the order to move a CarMax car.   Only the worst of the worst carriers who nobody trusts or hires, are the only ones who move CarMax vehicles.  

The Rates.    Because truckers hate to go there so much you have to offer them way more than necessary to get them to even consider the load.   I talk to hundreds of dealers and hundreds of carriers every day.   By far, the worst of the worst is CarMAX.   

After hundreds of complaints from all my contacts in the whole industry I've decided to boycott CarMax.  They just don't treat dealership, and especially truck drivers, with any level of professionalism what-so-ever. 

I hope the share holders and CEO, CFO and COO reads this information.  When you don't communicate with your customers and put them through tons of frustration, you get to a point where everyone starts to break ties with such grossly negligent conduct toward your own customers and the carriers that serve your customers.   

I will make it my personal mission to ask each and everyone of my accounts to seek vehicle inventory from any other source.  I will no longer service any CarMax location nationwide.   

They over price the cars so they can overpay truckers who hate their disgusting treatment of truck drivers!   

The reason they can't sell cars is because most families know a truck driver.  They are people told by all truckers to avoid these nasty people.   They abuse of auto transport truckers is widely known and now it is biting them in the butt.
