I had contacted their Luxottica Customer Care division on the matter but have received no meaningful reply. I would recommend that when seeking eyeware, new or replacement, that you patronize other Companies who have more customer-friendly practices. Contrary to their advertisement, LensCrafters is “not there for you.”

I was shopping rates and coverage about a year ago and found out that some companies will not cover you if you have more than 3 stops in the same day at any time during your policy period. I was completely blindsided by this insurance rep.
I have no points and the last ticket I received was more than 10 years ago. I asked for an example of 3 stops. The example given to me by the insurance rep was going to work, to the grocery store, the pharmacy and the gas station and then home. This would violate their insurance policy coverage. Make sure you find out exactly what your insurance company covers and what they exclude.
