Verizon Wireless Verizon stole my money! Philadelphia pennsylvania

Being a LOYAL Verizon Wireless customer since 2002 I have always kept my PRE-PAY service up to date. HOWEVER, after 18 LOYAL years, it didn't matter to Verizon Wireless. I was ONE DAY late in adding money to my phone, mainly because I had some emergency issues to tend to.

I'm a senior, on fixed income, and money is sometimes tight, I'm sure I'm not the only one like that, particularly during this messed up covid29 year.

So today, when I went to use my phone, I get a recorded message that I had ZERO dollars in my prepay account, and that I must add money to make any more calls. So I immediately put some money into the account in order to make an important call.

Now mind you, the DAY BEFORE, I used my phone, no problems, and had $55 balance in my wireless account. I got NO text messages to alert me to pay by a certain time/date, as I used to get before.  Verizon even confirmed this at customer service.

YET..... When a similar incident happened back in 2008, (12 years ago!) I was able to get the money lost credited back to my service.

According to THEM, I am allowed ONLY ONE time to do that! - yet they told me that new customers can have MULTIPLE re-credits in that situation - IS THAT FAIR? - it's no different than some mugger on the street robbing me of $55. - you surely wouldn't like that person, would you?

EIGHTEEN YEARS of being a faithful customer is crap to them? Oh sure, I'm only a "one little man", against a huge company, what do they care? That money-hungry outfit can kiss my ___ where it stinks the most! So for this Christmas, I'm giving myself the gift of NO MORE VERIZON WIRELESS!

Once my cell account runs dry, that's IT!.... and the phone can get trash-canned.... screw 'em! Because I don't need a cellphone, my life is just fine without it, besides I have a landline to use. One less bill to pay - to those creeps.
