1-800- Mattress Misrepresented, placed charges on my credit card, did not deliver, did not call back Columbus Ohio

I placed my call to 1800Mattress to order a queen sized mattress. They were too eager to take my order, and gave me a four-hour window of time for today, Sunday.

They told me they were taking my credit card for "verification only" and that no charge would be made until they delivered the mattress and that the card would need to be present for delivery.

It is now TWO HOURS after the four-hour window, my credit card has been charged, and no mattress has been delivered.

I've been calling the company for over an hour, and am repeatedly told that I'm "in line" for a returned call. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they are all busy as well.

Finally, a call came back, and the person on the other end had a terrible attitude, a poor customer service mentality, and sounded as if she could not care less. She told me that someone spoke to me yesterday telling me the earliest delivery date was several days from now, which is a complete lie. I then asked for a credit on my card, and to cancel the order, and she said she would pass it along to a supervisor. I then asked when the supervisor would get back to me and she said "they won't. You'll have to get in touch with them." I then asked to speak to a supervisor and she said "they are all busy" and then hung up.

NO call, NO mattress, and my credit card has been charged. Poor customer service, liars, and lack of credibility all make 1800 MATTRESS a fraudulent company (in my opinion) who sell shoddy merchandise and hire poorly-trained, uneducated people to work their phones.

In my opinion, this qualifies 1800MATRESS as a terrible business, perhaps guilty of fraudulent activity, and use them at your own risk.
