I have been employed as a salesman in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for sleepys. I am now a district manager for them and I am disgusted by what I have to do to make a living with this company. The product is not worth the false prices they attempt to get for these stripped down beds. The reason sleepys does not carry the national lines from the factories is because they make the factories take important elements from the beds to make more money. they try to tell you it's a sleepys exclusive when really they are selling less than quality products at outrageous prices. The game is simple to see through. Fake coupons, bogus home show discounts, calls to managers like myself that will try and fake out the customer with lies about overstocks and sales contests. My job is to lie and lie each and every day. We can't even advertise the fake fifty percent off sales in Massachusetts because the atty general made them stop using their false advertising. The beds are in many cases three times as much as you would find in a furniture store so they pretend to drop these I later prices by half and still come in way higher than the competition. They want to make you think you are getting a great deal when really you are getting stripped down product for ridiculous prices. 

The moral of the story is simple I see people pay different prices for the same product everyday. Their service is a complete joke. Compare their bed contents or specs to reputable furniture stores and it will be quite clear you are getting screwed. One hindered dollars for delivery, 19.99 to remove each peice, over two hundred for a mattress pad that every place else sells for 79 dollars. Crap frames for 150 and pillow prices that are totally ridiculous. They have no moral compass and each day I make less and less. I look at my little girl and think what kind of person have I become? I went from electronics to this nonesense. I actually sold weed to other employees years ago from their stores And they never caught me. I talk to other people that work for our competition and they can't believe what I have to do to make a living. I had a DUI a few years back and was happy to get this job but now I hate it. Please think about the whole deceptive process before you buy anything there. They have hurt so many people and I am sorry because I am part of it everyday. even at seventy percent off they are still ripping you off. How can any decent company sell product for these nonsense prices and discounts. Our pays change constantly for the worse. I pray I can someday get a better job sooner than later.
