24 Hour Fitness lie to get you to sign up Costa Mesa California

Wondering if 24 hour fitness is in financial trouble since they seem so willing to rip off thier clients. I was happy with the Newport Beach location but it closed. The Triangle Square Costa Mesa branch (too far from my house) lied when I signed up saying it was a month to month agreement, and when I called them wanting to cancel they said I signed an annual agreement. So here I am 14 months later and they are still charging me (haven't been in 12 months). Corporate staff are rude and could care less what you were told when you signed up. DO NOT TRUST THIS FRANCISE!!!

Oh, and on my last visit I also had an expensive gym bag stolen that did not fit in the tiny locker and they confessed they have "a homeless problem" with people sneaking in for showers and stealing things.
