469 Maids 469 Maids (Groupon) Scam, Fraud, Rip Off dallas texas

I bought services from groupon.com from 469 Maids and then was made to pay an additional $108.00 for the services. I was also charged for gas. They do not bring cleaning supplies so I had to buy my own. I spent over $70 for cleaning supplies. The morning of my scheduled and confirmed service, no one showed up The company had sent me an email (that went to my spam) asking me to call them so I did.

I could not reach anyone for an hour. About an hour later a guy who kept telling me he is only the receptionist stated that the maid that was assigned to my home couldnt make it and really didnt bother trying to fix the issue. He wanted to send someone new out at a later time, but it would be hours after my scheduled appointment because they would have to call and get someone else to confirm.

No one was on stand by which I thought was insane. How do you run a cleaning business if you do not have enough employees?? Anyway I told him that I could not take an appointment hours later. I had originally scheduled a 8 am appointment because I had to pick my children up after the cleaning and had a later appointment in the day and could not change my confirmed day to meet their company issues AND it was not a guarantee that they could get someone else. I asked to speak with a Manager and he told me that she was busy in meetings all day.

At this point, no one has shown up, no one has contacted me, called me, emailed me back or issued a refund and I am still out of $70 plus dollars in the cleaning supplies that i bought. I should have checked this companys reviews online before I booked them. Many other customers have been ripped off and left the same type of reviews. This company is a scam. They take your money and never show up and "customer service" is a joke.  Do not use this company. You have been warned.
