I signed a lease agreement with Aarons on several items. Each and every one of them was either missing important things or just plain old defective.
I requested that they pick up the items from my house and they gave me lots of trouble about doing that. Then they refused to give me a refund, even though the merchandise was either defective or missing parts.
I called the corporate office and got the run around and was promised someone would call me back about my refund.
No call back, of course.
The good thing is I paid the rent with my credit card and have disputed the transaction with my bank. Don't know the outcome of that.
STAY AWAY FROM AARON's. THEY ARE A RIP-OFF.

Brett from Aaron's called today and offered me either a refund or exchange on the defective merchandise.
He is the district manager for this area. A real gentleman and very polite.
Based on his contact I would have to say that Aaron's stands up to their hype and they certainly back their products.
If you are having problems with Aaron's you can call the National Office at 1-404-231-0011. They will take your info and provide you with contact with the district manager.
Brett took a very negative experience and went out of his way to provide a positive experience. I'm meeting him later today to either get my refund or try different -brand new- merchandise.

Aaron's has become the scum of the Rent to Own business. They are even lower than Rent A Center. Anyone who rents from Aaron's has to be a complete fool. Save your money for a couple of months and BUY the stuff at a retail store.
