When my boyfriend and I signed the contract for a new bedroom set it was all fine. We made payments on time and then we went through some financial hardship as his father passed away on Christmas Day 2007. My boyfriend went to the Aaron's location and personally spoke to the General Manager of the store, told him the situation, and the General Manager went ahead and gave us an extension of 1 month to continue paying what we owed. He even mentioned he would make a note of it in our account.

That same week we began to receive calls for non-payment. We let them know that we had already spoken to the manager and he had made a note of it in the system. Well, apparently no-one was aware of the situation. The calls kept on coming, even at my work!!! Day-after-day non-stop.

We then were getting home visits by the Account Manager. My boyfriend opened the door and he just straight-out told her, "I already spoke to whom I spoke and they made a note of it, if you're not aware if of the situation then it is not my business, stop calling, stop coming, I don't have time for this right now." Well then the Account Manager began to literally speak to him sarcastically, (I was listening from the bedroom), saying that she needed to speak to me and not to him because he wasn't even on the account, and she was going to take the furniture because he was lying about the whole death of his father, and as my boyfriend began to close the door, she literally stuck her foot in between the doorway for it not to close!!!!!! SHE ACTUALLY WENT THAT FAR!!!!!!

...I will never again shop at that place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phone call

AUTHOR: Dimas - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 25, 2008

Why didnt u call the store manager at the time of the field visit or call the store manager when the phone calls began to have him take care of it all when he was the one that should have done that in the first place. I would have call ed the store manager on the spot while the accounts Manager was standing at the door and passed the buck off to him.
