For over 6 weeks now my internet service worked only intermittently after hours of trying to get things to work. The first time I called Tech support I got through and they sent me a new modem. Since that time, I tried countless times to call tech support and would only get msg telling me that the wait is over an hours so call back later, I didn't even have the option of waiting. I finally got sick of trying and thus sent a request to cancel my service and got internet else where. In my original request I asked for a refund for the time I could not use the internet as well as for the time I had paid in advanced for. This works out to about 2 months. I also asked how I should return the two modems. Despite my request I was never advised what to do with the first one I had. The second modem only had about two hours of actual use on it.

Each response Acanac sent me (I could not just call in cancel of course) took several days. Despite my details in my original msg they simply told me that my account would not renew but that they could offer me specials if I continued on. They even asked me why I was canceling, despite it being clearly outlined in my request to cancel. After several more responses it turns out that they refuse to give me a refund, stating that you have to do it within the first 30 days. They also gave me no advice on what to do with the modems. I have had their service for almost 3 years. It stopped working and they did not provide me with tech support. I had no other option but to go elsewhere as they were not providing service to me. They are the ones that canceled the contract yet they refuse to refund my money.

If you decide to use Acanac for your internet I strongly recommend that you do not pay them in advance. Apparently if you have issues with service you will be out of luck!
