ACANAC These services were chosen for my 88 year old father. Failed to provide any written instructions as to how to set up. Calling them for information was an exercise in futility as there was only one telephone number made available. Failed to provide services. Failed to communicate effectively. Failed to follow up and rectify problems they created. Failed to provide address for returning equipment for months. Even after having returned equipment and replaced their equipment and services, Acanac is still billing us- months later. We have been using another company's Internet and Telephone Equipment and Services for almost 2 months. Ottawa Ontario

Sept. 27, 2018, We ordered Internet & Telephone Equipment and Services from Acanac after having discussed their services by telephone. Only the Internet Equipment arrived without directions as to how to set up. No Telephone adapter arrived.  After many attempts to communicate with Acanac, the telephone adapter arrived almost two months later.  Once set up, we found that the telephone number provided was already is use. Acanac promised to rectify the problem in 48, Acanac didn't; then Acanac promised it would be fixed within 3 - 5 days, Acanac didn't. We were never provided another telephone number despite many promises to do so.   Acanac promised return calls from higher management, we have not received a call.    We received scripted responses not addressing the questions or problems identified in our letters to them.  They were repetetive, mostly advising we call them or how much they valued us as customers.   We received is equipment without needed information or services.

Acanac failed to meet our agreed upon terms; therefore, Acanac breached our contract. We informed Acanac that we did not wish to do any business with this company.   I asked Acanac repeatedly to provide a prepaid box &/or prepaid miling label to return both the modem/router that Acanac insisted we purchase along with an unused telephone adapter. Although they kept writing that they had, we did not receive the address labels.   Jan. 2, 2018, after two months of having requesting 2 labels for 2 pieces of equipment to be returned, we received one mailing label and were advised to photocopy it.     We have returned all equipment and have been using another company for our telephone and computer services and equipment for over a month.    Jan. 18, 2018- Acanac finally responded to all my letters stating: the modem will not be refunded and was not supposed to be returned as service is active and no cancellation requestwas requested.
