Dear Allstate Insurance Company,
I got hit by an Allstate customer resulting in minor damage to my car. Allstate had an adjuster check the damage and start my claim in a reasonable amount of time. However, I attempted to get information regarding a rental during the repair process and had no luck. My adjuster or Allstate rep did not return my call in a timely manor (Stephanie Rush, had plenty of excuses though). This caused me a great deal of lost time and frustration. I could not get a rental since Allstate would not pay Enterprise directly.

You see, I do not use credit cards and it seems that without a credit card you can not rent a vehicle from Enterprise unless you give them all kinds of personal information that they have no business knowing (they wanted my social security number, a $250.00 Deposit, a paystub and a utility bill). Why am I supposed to come up with $250 dollars, this accident is not my fault.

Now, my Allstate rep did tell me that she would send me a reimbursement check for two days rental at Enterprise (a check for $56.00) but since I declined taking my car to a preferred Allstate repair center (I wonder if they lie and cheat as much as Allstate does?) I would have to pay the deposit and rent the car myself. So, policy is policy I suppose and no one can help me since I did not TAKE MY CARE TO AN ALLSTATE AUTHORIZED AUTO BUTCHER, but here is where the problem starts.

You see, I did not cause the accident, I did not have Allstate insurance (I will never have Allstate insurance again after all this, I promise) and I do not have a vehicle because Allstate is so stellar in taking care of there victims. (Customer Service? What is that?)

So, lets recap on this tale. Through no fault of my own, I have damage to my vehicle because an Allstate customer hit my car while I was parked at Sonic Drive in (I was in the car when it was hit). I do not have a rental vehicle because Allstate refuses to pay since I did not use an Allstate preferred repair shop even though it is one of there customers that caused me to be with out a vehicle. And I am once again dealing with Allstate.

Bottom line: Allstate is a horrible insurance company that does not care at all for the people they are supposed to help. Beware, If it involves a dollar, Allstate will lie, cheat, ignore you, refuse to accept responsibility, make excuses and then hold out there hand with a smile when its time to collect your premium payment.

Copies of this letter were sent to the Better Business Bureau, Rip Off Report and All State.Again, thanks so very much for the headaches, trouble, time lost and everything else Allstate stands for.
