Allstate legal services William Turner accused me of stealing monies and threatened to arrest me. great neck, New York

I received a phone call from a man who sounded foreign at about 4:40 pm on Monday, February 6, 2012 and he said that he worked for Allstate Legal Services. I asked him what this was regarding and he stated that it was to collect a debt. I asked him specifically for what and he stated that it was for receiving a pay day loan and not paying it back.

He went on to say that if I couldnt pay the company anything at this time that legal action would be requested. He went on to say that he would contact my local athority and have them "remove" me from my home by the end of the night. I asked him what he would have them arrest me for and he said there were three charges. 1: Stealing money from a federal bank, 2: check fraud, 3: borrowing money and not paying it back. He stated that the money was deposited into my bank account and told me exactly what my back was and said that when the company went to get the money back it was gone. He also stated that I had to go to court tomorrow morning.

When I asked him what court I had to go to he stated my local court in my city. Then stated that he would transfer over my files as soon as I hung the phone up. I told him to go ahead and send the investigators to my house.

I have contacted my bank to inform them that someone is trying to get money from me. I have also contacted the people I live with and told them to watch the door for any law enforcement, just in case it wasnt a scam. I am reporting this because I for one looked up the address he gave me to the company and it doesnt exist and also looked up the name of the company and this web site popped up.

I have no idea how I can have a pay day loan out there if I do not have a job. I told them this and also told them that I didnt believe what they were doing is right.

The man also went by a different name everytime I called. I do not remember the first two names but the last one given was William Turner (an american name).
