I will lose my job if the company finds out about this, but I feel it is the right thing to do. Be wary of doing business with American General, they are only out to profit from people with credit issues. The employees are trained to inflate rates when quoting customers to make every penny they can. Also when customers complain, they are told, "This is how our underwriter approved it." or employees are told by managers, or district managers to sell the payment not the rate. Most of the time rate is never openly discussed,and on top of that 90% of the customers are not told they have "optional credit life and disability" Most of the loans are prepackaged. Stay away from them they are really out to rip you off.
