I returned a flawed emerald ring on Jan 19, 2008 and an overpriced (it was appraised) gem stone on Feb 9, 2008 (both were sent with delivery confirmation and both were verified as having arrived). RMA numbers were placed both inside and outside the package and a copy of the receipt provided. It is now April 10, 2008 and the $2200 in merchandise has still not been credited to my credit card. If you call their service department (which is not an "800" number), expect to wait at a minimum of 15 minutes for an operator. I have also sent email (when requesting a return RMA #) and never received a response. Noticed today that there website is unavailable.

THESE GUYS ARE THEIVES, THEY ARE ADVERTISING ONE THING AND SENDING ANOTHER, THEY MUST BE STOPPED-THIS IS FRAUD, FALSE ADVERTISING ON THE AIRWAVES AND POSSIBLY EVEN MAIL FRAUD-COMPLAIN WHEREVER YOU CAN!!!!

After sending a letter to AVC complaining of the tardy credit to my CC, they did respond (almost immediately) and did credit my account correctly. Evidently just needed to hound them a little...it did take several months to execute the transaction however.
