I voluntarily returned a car in 2003 that i could not pay for anymore. AmeriCredit called me a few times to get me to pay the balance. Then i didn't hear from them for another year and a half. Actually it was Cavalry Portfolio Services trying to collect my full original sales price of the car (over $10,000). I continued to write them stating that they needed to inform me of the auction sales price and the deficiency i owed. Cavalry has started calling me again, 4 years after the repo. This is not legal is it???
