Ashley Furniture Home Store Ashley Furniture Very expensive defective lifetime furniture purchased 3 full rooms and 7 yr warranty-Talbe cracked and split and chips-chair leg broke-marble cocktail table finish in marble marks and rings and took o Orleans, Ontario Canada

Had to get replaced dining room table, chair leg broke, cocktail table taking on marks of even the cover put over it to protect it-Happened the first time within 2 months of delivery-Happened same thing to same pieces again and was replaced. They refused to give another set the first time saying this never happens but it under warranty even if it did. Was replaced 2 more times. within a year then finally offered to settle with a cash amount and cancel warranty for 1,000 on table and 600 on cocktail table but was reluctant due to so many problems and while deciding my husband took ill and died suddenly, then when I called about getting it replaced they said warranties company went out of business.

I called over 52 times, went into the store several times then finally when others heard of my complaints and wanted to talk to me about it in the parking lot they came out and threatened to call the police and have me escorted off the property. The last replacement was in 2008 and has refused to return my calls since. They knew I was disabled and my husband could no longer fight for justice on this matter. I continued to call but their manger has never yet called me back even though he personally came out to look at the damaged furniture. I noticed that the same set is still being sold but the company refuses to honor the defeated lifetime furiture as they call it-more like lifetime garbage. I live alone and the furniture has minimal use but major problems. -we spent our life savings and now it is gone and so is my husband and his support. Please help me if you can
