Asset Recovery Associates Logan Scott - Representative Threaten me about a debt from 15 years ago that I never had. Told me they would be seeing me in court and my wages will be garnished. Lombard Illinois

Received a call 4/27/17 at 9am from Asset Recovery Associates.  Spoke to a Logan Scott.  Who informed me that there was a judgement against me from 2002, that they have tried to contact me many times and now this is in collections.  Says I had a car loan from Universal Underwritters Acceptance Corp that has not had a payment made on it since 2002.  I have not had a car loan since 2000 and still to this day do not have a car loan.  They told me that the balance in 2002 was $2754.68 and now due to penalties it is $5700.  The man spoke to me like I was an idiot and I immediately told him he was talking to the wrong person.  I am very organized and I am not a fool to listen to this nonscence.  I asked why in the world were they just now, 17 years later trying to threaten me for this balance?  I specifically told him it was not my balance.  He asked if I could make a payment today and I said Hell no.  I explained my financial hardships and you cannot get blood from a turnip.  He said "okay maam, see you in court"  I told him no I don't think so and hung up.
