ATT U-VERSE BAIT AND SWITCH ON U450 PLAN-CONSUMER FRAUD NATIONAL ATT UVERSE CENTERS Nationwide

i called att uvers regarding the internet/cable packages; spoke with id#am1187 who quoted for the special package they were offering for the u450 w/45mgof internet speed a price of $140, upon ending the conversation the price was corrected to $140.99 including 4 receivers, one that is wireless, the wireless modem; hd; all of the movie stations they offer; national encrypted att hot spot wifi; all the sporits channels, etc for, again $140.00. the installation took place on 1/31/2014. the technician was there for 6 hours. He ripped a glob of insulation from the basement upper exposed wall trying to find the line and threw the insulation on the floor, he put on butties at our request (we had 16.5 inches of snow that he traisped thru, so his pants and shoes were soaking and the wet went thru the booties as he walked onto the oriental rugs in the living and dining room to go to the kitchen instead of the short cut to the kitchen...put, or i should say "plunked" his tools down on my not covered wood tables, took the packaging, plastic etc off of the equipment and just dropped it where he stood-i walked behind him cleaning up all the time-literally in a hurry all the time running up and down the stairs, then when was finished and all of the furniture was put back---i said why is the tv blurry and double...he looked at me and said that forgot to install the hd cables...so here we went again. then i was notified that the bill was here, went on line and it was almost $190-yep...a 3 month activation fee added (no informed) a modem fee $7.66 a month (not informed of), service $153 instead of $140 and fees/taxes over the estimed $10 i was told of. i called att, i was told they raised my rate $13.00 the day after installation and it was their right to do so by the 1st person i spoke with-transferred to someone else who waived the 3 month activation fee and told me a supervisor would call me back within 24 hours to discuss and see why my bill was not $140 as quoted and printed off of the instant customer service chat with Mellisa K. nobody called me back. i called again today, spoke with someone who could nothing, sent to a customer service supervisor who has offered me $100 credit to make me happy. I told him my husband was going to have a fit about payng $300 more a year for cable and losing $100 visa gift card-he then told me it was all in my presentation to my husband, if i was happy and satisified then he should be also...alrighty then!!!! so i am out $400, they will not bargain, honor the contract/quote or provide any additional services--like the epix movie stations that are not included but i was told was included, or bring my bill down to the $150 per month as quoted to me....funny too, only the last person i spoke with found the original quote, then again informed me it was a misquote....so i think bait and switch is here and consumer fraud....
