AT&T U-Verse Unwanted ADVERTISING on MyYahoo home page Internet
*Consumer Comment: Not likely
*Consumer Suggestion: Ad blocker software
We are paying ATT U-Verse good money for internet services. Why are we forced to have ADVERTISING BLASTED at us on My Yahoo home pages?
Anyone else un-happy about the ADVERTISING that we can not remove?

Ad blocker software

Some products that are free downloads can be useful here. EX adblocker plus, which is an extension to the browser. Ads on
paid services are getting worse anr more obtrusive. You expect it on free services, but just as in a movie theatre,
where you pay and then blasted with ads, this is how they operate. Social media is one way to make our voices heard.

This issue does not seem to be from the ISP (AT&T), but it is your own computer. Any ISP will not and can not block any infected computer. Your computer have been infected with malware/virus. You just need to check & clean up your computer. You may try Malwarebytes which is free. Google for it for more information. Make sure to choose the "free" version, not the "trial" version, when you install the software. Also, you may need TDSSKiller from Kaspersky which helps cleaning rootkit (some anti-virus programs do not detect). Hope this help...
