AT&T has lied and changed my service amount so much that I can no longer keep track of it. Initially when they installed The system I was on a promotion that I called in on that change drastically immediately after they install the system in my home.

My first complaint that I had i involved and install into my 3000 ft.² custom home. The technician installed one portion of the unit in the corner of my bedroom which is 2 feet away from my bed, and the other portion directly under the head of my bed also on the carpet. I ended up with a unit just 18 inches from my head 18 inches from my head  anyone who has this Uber system should know that is absolutely ridiculous.  technician claimed it was the only place in this 3000 square-foot home that he could've installed it. he left a pile of quarts in the corner that were absolutely ridiculous they were at least about 8 feet of cables all curled up in the corner of my bedroom what a site.

So imagine this U-verse system every night just beneath the Head of my bed, despite I told the technician my concern with it being so close to my head while I sleep. He insisted that the system was safe and that there were no exposure to electromagnetics. Every night I had to deal with waking up in the middle of the night from the buzzing noise that the system puts out, constant electronic clicking noise that came from the unit right under my hrad, and of course the huge light display on the ceiling that also comes from part of unit the keeps you wide-awake because it was directly over my head on my ceiling  

For months I experienced major sleeplessness, restlessness, irritability and headaches. This system is so disturbing in my home. I finally call them after months of dealing with this and told them I can't take another night of not sleeping and the massive headaches.  I asked them to either relocate The unit somewhere else in the house or remove it entirely. 

I called in to customer service with this complaint, The rep apologized over and over on the phone to me.  The rep started telling me how she was so sorry  about what I was going through so as a compensation she was offering me extensive programming we're all sorts of movie channels (that I don't by the way watch). there was no mention of a promotional timeframe or anything just that I was going to receive these channels because of what I went through. If she giving me that option and told me that it was going to go up later I certainly would've never taken them because honestly I don't watch the movie channels., sports, nor pretty much anything but the news. 

Low and behold I slowly start seeing that my bill is going up higher and higher until it has doubled. 

When  I first signed up I was paying roughly $83.00. a month for Internet and television.  Today my bill is roughly $212 a month. Today I tried to decipher why it went up so high Iand I noticed  in print that they're also getting ready to increase my bill again in the next two weeks for each service and each cable box. 

I called them last month and inquired as to when my contract was up I was told it was of January 27th. Today is January 15 and I decided to call them to find out should I go ahead and schedule a cancellation today for the 27th. I am informed that I have another year with this company and that if I cancel that they will charge me a early termination fee. they claim that whoever I spoke to you gave me bad information on my contract gate   The rep could not tell me how much that  early termination fee is, but honestly at this point I have a bill for $400 for cable that I'm just absolutely going to not pay. i've determined today I'm not going to spend my life being raped by AT&T Internet Uverse anymore. it is such a shame that AT&T takes such great advantage of people by pretending they're giving you a deal.

By the way the person on the phone tried to sell me yet into another contract which of course would extend it even longer and it made no sense what he was trying to sell me again trying to give me something at a promotion only so that later when that so call promotion ends the bill goes up.

So here's the jest  of it : if you sign up for AT&T expect to be lied to over and over because that's what they do expect nothing that they say is going to happen will happen expect really crappy service because whenever I do watch TV I am watching it through the Internet and it is flickering on and off as it buffers constantly. Expect really crappy cable service and slow because it is no good. And also expect that every time you get on the phone with them they're going to try and sell you another product to extend your contract. Also expect that your promo date will always expire before your contract date so that they can further rip you off. At this point I am canceling my service I do not care what collection agency they send  me to for early termination I am done with this company.

I am going to find out if there is a class action suit going down because they really should be for what they're doing to consumers. we all need to just say no to these cable companies most of the crap they have on TV has so much sex of homosexuality I can't even cope with it. I think I am watching a good show and next thing you know they're all screwing on TV I really kind of tired of seeing all that, as well as the homosexuality which I honestly don't care what people do as long as they keep it to themselves I just don't want to turn on the TV and see it anymore.

The size of my home is only mentioned because it is a very large home and they said that is the "only" place they could have installed the unit. I have had 2 friends who work with ATT for over 20 years each, and they both said the installer was just lazy and left all the cords in the corler not even trimmed down because of laziness. The last paragraph has nothing to do with ATT, it is just my mention of th quality of TV in general and how our soceity has sold out to "crap".  Now spend your time wisely.

 Too much "homosexuality" on tv??????? Welcome to the 21st century!!!! And who cares the square footage of your home?? You beat me by about 200 square feet!  Pathetic - class action suit??? The only person(s) who benefit from any type of suit is the LAWYERS!! You would be lucky to get 20.00.
