I ordered a fuel pump assembly for a 1990 Mitsubishi Mirage. I supplied the OE# from the dealer at their request. The part that they shipped was NOT the same part.

I have copies of the parts manual supplied by the dealer clearly showing the fuel pump and ALL its parts.

The Co. insists that it sent me the correct part that references my OE#, even though it looks nothing like the parts manual diagram.

I finally had to order the part from the dealer, costing me an additional $370 on top of the $265 already paid out for the wrong part. In the meantime, the vehicle has not been drivable, and I have been forced to drive an old truck that is costing me triple in gas.

The parts man at the Mitsubishi dealership offered to verify the OE# and the part for anyone that wanted to contact him.

I noticed autoparts giant claims to help the customer, however that is untrue .I am going through alot of grief with them as well waiting to see if I AM REFUNDED FOR ITEMS NEVER SHIPPED!! If you email them they will never respond (sent over 30 emails) also if you call them be prepared to wait,then get someone rude whom will not give you any information or help.I9 usually get hung up on. I have never been as frustrated or angry with a company as I am with autopartsgiant. not only have they taken money from me for an item they never had or shipped ,they also wasted my time waiting for a part to fix my car when it could have been purchased elsewhere . it has been several weeks since they said my refund would be given ,however the bank has received nothing from them and this seems to enrage me more.Thanks autopartsgiant,your never getting anymore of my money and bad news travels fast.sooner then later you will be out of business.

This customer ordered a Fuel pump. After receiving the pump the customer discovered the Pump was not their problem and wanted to return the part. Because of the nature of automotive parts, the following items are unfortunately not returnable: Cut hose, carburetors, electrical (Fuel Pumps) parts, and special order items. If the item does not function we will be glad to replace it under warranty, but returns will NOT be accepted.

This policy is an industry standard and was put inplace to remove us as being a placed to buy a part for testing to find a problem.

We work hard at trying to solve every customer problems and bend our own policies in order to help the customer. This customer was not willing to work with us.
