I found AutoPartsGiant on the internet and found the part # for a radiator I needed. I called the company's toll free # and placed my order with Manny. He checked to make sure I was ordering the right part and told me it was in stock. This was on March 13th. He told me it would ship out with UPS on the 14th.

When it had not arrived by the 20th I called and asked for a tracking # so that I could find out where it was. He checked to make sure he had my telephone # and said he would call me right back.

Four hours later I called back and got a different gentleman. He didn't want to help at first because Manny was supposed to be working on it, but he finaly agreed to check on it. He came back on the phone and told me it had already been shipped and I should be getting it in 2 to 3 business days.

I told him it should not take that long and again asked for the tracking #. He said he would get it and e-mail it to me right away. I waited until 15 minutes before closing time and when I still hadn't recieved any information I called back and asked for the manager. When the manager, Ed, came on the line I told him what the problem was and he put me on hold and went to check on it. He came back and told me that they had been updating there business system and although the radiator showed in stock at there store it actually had to be shipped from another location, but it had been shipped and I should be receiving it shortly. I again asked for the tracking # and he said it was too late that night to get it, but he would call me back in the morning with it and if I didn't hear from him right away to call back and check with him.

The next day, March 21st, I waited until they had been open for about three hours and then called back again. Ed told me he wasn't able to get a tracking # for my shippment. I work with UPS every day and know that if it had been shipped there would be a tracking # for it and told him so. He said there was nothing he could do about it. I then told him he had 30 minutes to call me back with a tracking # or credit my account back for the $93.03 they had charged me or I would turn it in to my credit card company as a fraudulant charge. He said they couldn't refund my money and do what ever I felt like and hung up on me.

As of March 30th I didn't have my radiator and have reordered from somewhere else. I have sent a report to my credit card company. I feel that they never had any intention of sending me the radiator and should be charged with theft and fraud.

proof they lied to me

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 11, 2007

Two weeks after I asked for my credit card to be credited back and cancelled the order, the radiator arrived. I had already gotten a radiator from another company and I refused delivery as I had already cancelled the order. I kept the tracking number from the order and ran it through UPS. They didn't ship the radiator until one week after I had cancelled it.

I have a copy of the tracking report as proof they lied to me about when it was shipped.
