Bank of America Lie, cheat and I take homes Simi Valle, California

I am writing because Bank of America bought our mortgage from Country Wide. When they first took over they raised our first mortgage to over 2000.00 a month and our second to almost 800.00 a month.

We contacted and requested help to lower the monthly payments. They fed-exed our packet back in June of 2010 and we re fed-exed it back to them. We called on a weekly basis and still no one had any information for us, but that it was being looked into. We were told we qualified due to my cut in pay.

At the beginning of September 2010 I made my usual weekly call and they told me that they had no information for me. They did not receive my paperwork. I asked to speak to a supervisor and that supervisor told me that I could do an appeal that it was denied. DENIED?? hmm after I was told I qualified and then told they couldnt find anything then told it was denied.

I re-did the process again only to be told at the end of this conversation I did not qualify because I had lost my job and that I could re-apply after I found employment. How exactly does that work. Would I be contacting you if I had a job I did not want to get behind in payments. Well It is November and as of right now I have not made November payment.

How do big banks get away with taking homes and lying about their qualification proceedures. I thought the President said Bank of America would help people like us keep our homes. I am a mother of 4 and am worried I am going to lose my home because the value dropped as so many others have. My home went from being valued at 384,000 down to 240,000.

You would think the banks would want to help people like us and work with us after all they would still be getting their money. What happened to helping people out when they need it.

I feel bad for the individual in Arizona who just lost their home in October. It sounds like Bank of America is doing to me what they did to him and so many others. I received a notice from Bank of America that I need to sign for at the post office. I have not picked it up yet because I know they are going to tell me I need to pay now. As I stated we are not behind month wise, but yes it is the 15th of November and we are 15 days late as of today.

How do big corporations get away with harassing people. How would they feel if they got put out on their big corporate butts. You would think that if the President would give a bank like this a bail out he would pay more attention to what this bank is actually doing to people like myself.

Be careful if your with bank of america. Trust me they are not here to help you at all, but to help themselves.
