I just hope that the President is not all talk when it comes to what credit card companies such as Bank of America are doing to the consumer. I have three cards with Bank of America (one I do not use). I recently received letters on the other two from Bank of America telling me that they were raising the interest rates from 8% to 20%.
Of course I can refuse, tear up the cards and pay off the balance at the 8% rate (that is my plan if nothing happens through Washington), however, they should not have a right to do these things on a whim. I have always made timely payments, but since that company is scared, they take it out on consumers. Come on President Obama take action and stop this treatment of consumers.
