I did an online customer survey from a retailer reciept and was offered a free trial of a teeth whitening system.Oddly,I received sample packages from two companies. The first company,Dental pro charged my account on 2/01/2016 $1.03 then 0n 2/02/2016 $3.87 I was able to cancel with them but there was a cancellation fee of$28.71 on2/04/2016.With Bella at Home my accounts were also debited on 1/29/2015-$1.03,on2/01/2016-$3.87 then on 2/08/2016 -$94.31.I had difficulty finding the correct Bella at Home, their customer service number claimed to have no record of me.I finally reached them at 866-238-5924.They are not refunding my $94.31.I did cancel my order on 2/09/2016 I never committed to either company and only received 2 samples(free trial offer) from these companies.

Response to Eileen McGuire

AUTHOR: Ms. Halloway - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, June 24, 2016

Hello Eileen McGuire.

Let me start off by first apologizing for any misunderstandings about our Terms and Conditions and how our trial promotion works. We take complaints very seriously and we hope this response will provide you with additional information.

When you ordered the product you also checked a box indicating that you agreed to the terms of the offer. When a customer checks that box we must assume that they have actually read what they are agreeing to. If there was any confusion with the terms you could have called our customer service team and they would have been happy to assist you.

Our company does not ever refer to the trial products as free samples. The free trial is the period of time the cx has to try the product. A trial period. If the cx exceeds this trial period and no contact has been made our company to cancel, the cx is automatically enrolled to our monthly subscription program.

These terms were presented to you in multiple places on our website when you ordered our product. Additionally, you were sent an order confirmation email after your order was completed that provided a full written version of the terms you agreed to. Our representatives are advised to inform the customers to check their spam inbox for this confirmation email if they do not see it in their personal inbox.

The reason for only one product being cancelled was because they are different companies and have to be addressed and handled separately. On your records you placed the order January 28, 2016 and you did cancel the Dental Pro at home by a web early cancel save sale accepting the product for $28.71 on February 3, 2016. This was because you were still with in the trial period  from the time the order was placed, and did not get charged the full amount of this product. Unfortunately, because they are separate companies, this only cancels one product at a time.  And the Bella at home product was left open and exceeded the trail period resulting in the full charge of that product on February 5,2016.I do see you did call and cancel this product through our IVR( automatized system) on February 9,2016.

I hope this can help clear up any misunderstandings about our trial promotion. Again, I genuinely apologize for the unpleasant experience. Please feel free to reach back out to us if you have any further questions about our terms and conditions. Thank you.

Sincerely, Ms. Halloway
