Blue Lion Marketing in Cary, NC is a rip off company. The owner tries to lure you in talking about how much he cares about his employees and how much he likes helping people, and then you learn that all he really cares about is money.
They expect you to work 60+ hours a week (~10am-10pm Monday-Saturday!) and you might make six figures in 2 or 3 years. Not worth it for me. You can tell that the company is under no regulation, because the work day is very atypical. After two hours of a full-grown-man pep-rally in the morning, they expect you to go walk around people's neighborhoods and knock on their doors trying to sell them stuff like a d**n vacuum salesman.
I worked for them for a couple days and was not paid one penny. I read in the "New Hire Training" packet I was given that you would be paid during training, but after emailing the owner a couple times, he refused to pay me anything and refused to keep emailing back.
In short, don't waste your time with them. You're better off unemployed.

I am an employee of Blue Lion Marketing-their Greensboro office- and I want everyone to know that it is a great company to work for!! The reason I am writing this report is because before I decided to even accept an interview for this company I Googled them and this website came up.
After reading some of the reports that were written I was skeptical to even come in for an interview. However knowing that they worked with AT&T and are even located in the AT&T building I thought I would just go in and see what it was all about since AT&T has such a good reputation.
After working for them for about 3months I thought about this website and I really felt compelled to write a rebuttal. I almost passed up a great opportunity to work for a company that not only pays well but also makes me feel valued as an individual all because a couple of people wrote negative, and in my opinion false, reports.
I realize that not every job is for everyone but if you work hard and maintain a positive attitude I don't see why anyone would have a problem working here. The atmosphere in the office is one of fun...we even play games in our morning meetings to encourage unity among employees!!!
I hope if anyone came across this website who was thinking about interviewing with this company, that you go for it! It turned out to be a great opportunity for me and it could be for you too.

I worked for Blue Lion for 2 weeks. I was just let go today, due to an issue in my background check. I honestly have never worked for a better bunch of guys than here, and I am 48 and worked a lot of jobs. I was paid in full today and Travis also threw in an extra $100 for the sale Imade this week. Now mind you, I was suppose to make at least 4 sales this week to earn 400 dollars next week. He didn't have to pay me for this sale, as it didn't meet the quota. Travis , the CEO, is a decent
person, and tries to look out for his people. All of his trainers and managers are the same. They make sure their people are taken care of. I have nothing but praise for this company and it's staff. I only wish I could have continued to work for them.
And yes, I am posting this on every one of these ripoff reports !!!!
