Brookstone Ron Boire CEO Bait and Switch, Deceptive Pricing, False advertising Merrimack, New Hampshire

I also place 2 separate orders through Amazon.com for the Samsung EC-ES80 camera for $0.96 each +shipping, I received the confirmation emails and the monies taken from my account. I had seen the price on Amazon and checked the Brookstone site where the camera was the same price so I assumed it was a clearance or closeout sale of that particular model. The price was listed for approximately 24 hours. From others I have spoken to, they started cancelling the Brookstone.com orders first and then the Amazon.com orders.

At first they were saying that they would be charging anyone that placed an order the full price for the camera, $99.99. They then offered me a 15% discount code if I purchased something more expensive in the next 10 days. From this I assume that they have the cameras in stock and are just refusing to sell them at the advertised price and are just wanting me to purchase a more expensive item. The emails that I received from Brookstone came through the Amazon.com site. When I responded to the email, I received a completely irrelevant form letter as follows--
