Frank, I have tried to reach out to you and you have been dodging my calls. I was very upset with the way that Camping World handled my new purchase. The man that handled my deal, Michael Fleming, was rude and quite nasty. He had no personality and a person like that should be kept behind doors and not allowed to talk to the public, I won’t even go into the hassle with the financing, that I was able to get with one phone call.

When I went to pick up my coach I was treated like I bought a pop up not a top of the line $400k motorhome. First they took my wife and I through the new coach. To say we were excited is definitely an understatement. They spent 1 hour going over the unprepared delivery. I say unprepared because it wasn’t ready for delivery. If you give someone a time and place to pick up a coach one would assume that it would be ready, it wasn’t. There was no satellite dish on the roof although all the rest of the equipment was there. The doors on the basement were not aligned. At least 10 lights inside did not work. The dishwasher and the refrigerator had water in them.ETC.
After handing over 291,000 I was asked to buy an additional $8995 warrantee which I refused. After all the coach came with a 100,000 mile/3 year warrantee. The next step was to tell me that my trade was not worth the amount that I was given at the show. I did sign a paper that said that you would buy my coach and told that I RATED MY COACH at a 9.5 out of 10. Those numbers were not there when I signed the agreement of sale, did you put those numbers there to make sense of the 10k additional that YOU gave me for my trade? The additional money required to complete the deal was $15,000. Now that is 9k for the warrantee, and $15k for the trade. Absolutely ridiculous. How many people go to buy a 400,000 motorhome and still have an additional $24k.

I have been in business for 44 years, and never treated any client with as much distain as was shown to me. I was a staunch customer of camping world and felt comfortable buying from you, but not any longer. I feel like that deal was a classic bait and switch.

I want you to also know that I bought the very same unit the very next day. They gave me more for my trade than you did and I saved several thousand dollars, so your deal wasn’t that good. I can’t wait to take my first trip in my new bus.
