Capital One Auto Finance ripoff very rude on the phone lost the insurance check!! Then charged me interest! Plano Texas

I just had to write about my unfortunate experience with this company. I made payments on my beloved Jetta for three whole years.
Not one single payment was ever late! One evening after work, I parked my Jetta in my carport and went into my apt. Approximately 10 minutes later..car burned to a crisp due to a mechanical malfunction.
I called Capital One the very next morning and told them what had happened and asked them what my payoff amount would be so that I could submit that to my insurance. They gave me an amount, and I then gave the amount to my insurance. So far, so good. Well, about 2 weeks later I called Capital One to see that the payment had been received and posted to my account so that they would release the pink slip to my insurance. They had not received the check. Well, waited another 2 weeks, and still no check had arrived at Capital One. I verified with my insurance that they sent the check to the proper address, and they did! Finally, the insurance adjuster decided to issue a stop payment on that check, and issue a new one. Ok, but then guess what happened? The lost check was deposited by Capital One the following day!!!!!!!!! Talk about right hand not knowing what the left was doing!
I tried to resolve the matter with one gentleman there who was extremely rude on the phone and verbally attacked me. Literally! I was shocked, and appauled.
Ultimately, they did receive the payment and post it after all that was said and done, but the "posted" date went beyond the date that the payoff amount gave me was good. So, the insurance check was not enough!
This check was probably sitting in their mail room for who knows how long! They know were demanding $125.00 for additional interest! I had to pay this to keep my credit good.
Shame on Capital One for charging me for their negligence in their mailroom. I will never use that company again!

The better business bureau of virgina are PREJUDICE & UNFAIR toward people who files complaints agaisnt capital one. The better business bureau has done nothing to help me resolve my problem with capital one after their unfair treatment towards me about a purchase account they had purchased from FCNB spiegel that i had a credit card with them in 2001 & are know harassing for me to pay them the money! & harassed me for 3 years capital one provided me no proof of the dept that i owed to them but I got them to settle for less then half the balance to get them of my back & after how rude & disrepectful their employeess talked to me about this purchased account & would not capital one does not obey the law when purchasing accounts has they claim they do! they are liars & abusiers capital one has abused me mentally these bastards needs to have legal action brought agaisnt them for their abuse that they do to consumers. The better business bureau has been unfair to me by taking capital ones side because capital one lied about me in their response to the better business bureau so the better business bureau is worthless piece of s**t because they did nothing to help me resolve my complaint. The better business bureau are crooks also why have a better business bureau if all they are going to do is treat consumers likes garbage & abuse them while they file complaints because they believe the story from capital one besides the consumers who they are abusing the better business bureau breaks the laws to but we have no proof to prove foul play from the better business bureau who treats consumers unfairly when trying to resolve complaints & causes them to have more trouble ruthless pigs! unlike capital one who are ruthless pigs! they deserve to be out of business of capital hates people complaining about them then they should treat consumers more better besides treating them like s**t & abusing them! capital one thinks their above the law nobody is above the law!.
