I make 2 different Cap One payments a month......usually the Monday nearest the 8th of each month. What Ive discovered is that early A.M.....on Mondays...the site is down for maintenance. I've never had a problem other than during those hours.     Maintenance IS an acceptable reason for a site to be down. I also usually schedule both payments at the same time....payable 2-3 days prior to the due date. One is due the first week of the month....the 2nd is due the last week of the month.     Maybe try scheduling in advance so that you know you've allotted enough processing time.
